Robin is a former Army NCO, and the Widow of a disabled Veteran, who left the service to raise her children and begin a 28 year career as a DOD Civilian, Coordinator of Child and Youth Services, in various locations worldwide. She has a BS in Education and has completed a large portion of her M Ed Program After retiring from DOD she spent a short tour at JRTC Ft Polk and then worked for the State of Louisiana as a Child Protective Services Worker. Since 2010 she has worked as the AW2 Advocate at Ft Polk in Louisiana, located in the WTU and working with Veterans and Soldiers throughout the State.

Robin has 2 grown sons and 2 grandchildren who live within easy visiting distance. She is a firm believer in the rights of Veterans and has worked diligently to ensure good relationships with Veteran serving agencies in the area.
