Office Manager

Ms. Martin joined 9Line as a Bookkeeper in 2014. She served 6 years (4 active; 2 inactive) in the US Air Force as a C-130H Engine Mechanic. She attended Jet Engine Propulsion Technical School at Chanute AFB in Rantoul, Illinois. During class, an announcement was made informing all of the female recruits that they were the first 100 allowed to enter the jet engine mechanic field. She was initially trained on the B52 bomber engine and when she arrived at her first duty station at Dyess AFB in Abilene, Texas and was assigned to MAC and trained on the C130H engine. Ms. Martinís crew was tasked with a repair that required work in an area that was only allowed to be worked on by the Depot section. Ms. Martin contacted Depot, requested permission to perform the necessary work, was given permission and completed the needed repairs to the front half of the gearbox successfully so that the mission could continue without delay. She was assigned to the Phase Isochronical section on the flight line to perform regular inspections and repairs with zero default ratings on engine repairs from Quality Control.

After leaving the Air Force with an Honorable Discharge, Ms. Martin moved back to Tampa, Florida and went back to work in the private sector using her skills in Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other areas of Accounting. She currently serves as the Tampa Office Manager.
