Mr. Habicht is a 29-year veteran of Army Service. He served the final 18 years of his career as a Special Forces NCO at various assignments within the United States Army Special Operations Command to include assignments at the SFODA through Battalion Command Sergeant Major level with 7th Special Forces Group and Group Command Sergeant Major for the 1st Special Warfare Training Group. His operational experience includes two OEF tours, as well as deployments throughout Central and South America. Military Awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Combat Infantrymen’s Badge.

Mr. Habicht has served as a SOCOM Care Coalition Recovery Program Advocate since his retirement in Summer 2008. He holds a BS in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College and enjoys golf during his off time.

Mr. Habicht resides in Fayetteville, NC with his wife Yvonne. His family includes three adult sons, and an adult step-daughter and son-in-law along with two grandsons.
