Mr. Darrell Underwood retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. His entire career was spent in the Air Force Special Operations Command providing support to U.S. Special Forces. His combat experience includes deployments in support of Operations ALLIED FORCE, ENDURING FREEDOM, and IRAQI FREEDOM. Mr. Underwood has worked as a helicopter crew chief, maintenance instructor, flight chief, and process improvement facilitator. During his last year in active duty, Mr. Underwood served as the wounded warrior LNO for the 27th Special Operations Wing.

Mr. Underwood holds an AS in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, a BS in Industrial Technology, and a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification. His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Air Force Achievement Medal with four oak leaf clusters.
