David MacDonald served 25 years in Army as an Aeromedical Evacuation officer. During his military career David served in a variety of command and staff assignments both in the Continental United States and overseas, to include: Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Highlights of his military career include: Commanding the 57th Medical Company (Air Ambulance), and the 56th Medical Evacuation Battalion, deploying the battalion in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He concluded his career as Director Medical Evacuation Proponency and Consultant to the Army Surgeon General for Aeromedical Evacuation. Recently he was the Program Manager for the USSOCOM Military Adaptive Sports Program.

David holds a Master of Science Degree in Business Administration from Saint Mary's University, a Master of Arts Degree in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from James Madison University.
