Administrative Assistant - MacDill AFB, FL  


The Administrative Assistant will work at the corporate office and provide support to Operations Manager and other staff as well as perform a variety of administrative functions including special projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned)

  • Provide administrative support to team as needed
  • Assist employees with pre-travel authorization; Review expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policy and the Joint Travel Regulation
  • Maintain and enter information into spreadsheets and databases
  • Manage paper/electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as expense reports, correspondence, or other material
  • Perform research and compile data as directed
  • Other special projects/tasks as directed

Education and/or Experience:
  • Associate Degree
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in an office environment preferred
  • Military-related experience is strongly preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for supporting our military community
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to multitask with a high degree of accuracy
  • Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Perform research and compile data as directed
  • Ability to compose business correspondence

Active Security clearance required.
